Ensign Peak Trail and Overlook

A short, but difficult hike. We complete it in an hour.

Bonneville Salt Flats

This is a long drive from Salt Lake City, but I completed a morning trip and was back by lunch. It is a must see in my opinion!

Bridal Veil Falls

(On the way to Stewart (Falls) Cascades Trail/Mt. Timpanogos.)

Stewart (Falls) Cascades Trail

This is a challenging hike if you are a beginner, but the waterfall is beautiful and worth it!

3-Day Pass ($6 Per Person) can be purchased at https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/74405 , these passes can be used in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. (They can't be used in Mill Creek Canyon.)

3.6 Mile hike to Waterfall and back.


Mount Timpanogos Trail

A very long and difficult hike, but was recommended by several people. We did not do this one because we weren't in SLC very long, and because it seemed like a difficult hike for me.

Mill Creek Canyon

Scenic Drive with tons of picnic areas and trails. It was pretty, but if you aren't going to picnic or hike... I would pass on this one.

State park full of panic areas, trails, and Bison!

Salt Lake Utah Temple. The temple was under construction/remodel when we were in Salt Lake City.

Del Taco (Food)

If you are from the south and have never had this. It's like a Chipotle/Taco Bell/Taco Bueno mix. It was our favorite thing we ate in SLC.

Located throughout the city.

A modern food hall with various restaurants. It such a cool atmosphere!
